Scrapyard Dog - Atari 7800

Wow, this is a weird game. I've heard it said it's supposed to be a kind of Mario ripoff, but it reminds me more of JJ&Jeff from the TurboGrafx-16. The plot is something to do with your dog being kidnapped by the Mafia, and they're going to chop it up and eat it or whatever if you don't.....well, I can't remember but I'm sure it's not important. What does matter, is you have to run through a bunch of different levels jumping over rats, balls and other nonsense while jumping into waste disposal units to play bonus games(?)

Best Bit: Seeing one of the bonus games involved you jumping on keys of a giant keyboard....inside a waste disposal unit....and hammering out tunes to your hearts content (in a sort of "these don't sound anything like the tune I'm playing but oh well" kind of fashion).

Worst Bit: Everything else.

I think it's fair to say Mario > JJ&Jeff > This.
