Hat Trick - Atari 7800

Some games, I buy purely to fill out a collection even though I know full well I'm only going to play it once then hurl it on the shelf, never to be touched again.

This is one such game.

Even then, it's lucky it was plugged into the console for the three minutes it took my brain to fart, then crap out.

To keep things brief, this is a game based on ice hockey, except played in a world where each team is made up of one badly animated moron with a stick and a goalie incapable of catching a breeze. Ba-ra-ba-whoo-pe-doooooo randomly emanates from the TV speakers every once in a while, and I guess that's the sum total of the musical content for this title.

You can't control the guy with the stick properly, the goalie is a douchebag and this game sucks.

Goodnight, Vienna.

Score: 1/5
